Vakinhoudelijk
The course format is based on discussions, practical tasks and workshops, which include analysis of pertinent texts, dramaturgical examination of performances (live and recorded) and compositional and dramaturgical exercises. It is taught by four different teachers with intersecting fields of expertise in dramaturgy, music, dance and theatre. Students are required to visit approximately three professional productions that will be proposed by the teachers, to read and analyze the assigned texts, to fulfill practical preparatory tasks, to actively participate in sessions, to give group presentations and to hand in a written assignment. The final weeks of this course focus on the making of group performance works, that will be guided and supervised by some of the teachers. In the end of this course, students will present their performances in public.
