- Midterm exam microeconomics: this tests your knowledge of mainstream microeconomics (course aims 1 and 2)
- Exam game theory and behavioral economics: this tests your knowledge of game theory and behavioral economics (course aim 3)
- Research proposal behavioral economics: this can demonstrate your ability to formulate a research question related to behavioral economics (course aim 3)
- Research paper behavioral economics: In this paper you can demonstrate your ability to carry out academic research in the field of behavioral economics (course aim 3)
Vakinhoudelijk
In the second part of the course we will look at game theory, the study of multi-person decision problems, and behavioral economics which adds insights of the field of psychology to the traditional economic rational-choice and equilibrium models. The emphasis will be on behavioral economics, for which students are required to carry out independent research.
The class meets twice a week for 1h 45m. Active participation is required. The set-up of each class will differ depending on the topic and day.
