Topics and Field Methods in Development Research in East Africa (2025/2026: Semester 2 – Summer)
Course aim
- explain how different livelihoods in East Africa shape development priorities and perspectives
- use different field methods of data collection that may be employed during the course of their internship
- begin building a contextualized foundation for their internship projects.
Course content
This course is a field course running for 4 weeks in June-July. It is a very intense period of exploration and study, demanding the full participation of students through the entire month.
