Human Anatomy and Pathology (2024/2025: period 4)
Course aim
..
Course content
This module is especially designed for students following the premedical track and more precisely for students who prepare for SUMMA. The module is also attractive for students not planning a medical career, but who are interested in human biology, other branches of medical science, such as medical or biomedical engineering. Note that there is active contact with human materials during the course. This module is a follow up of UCSCIMEDL2 and is advised to be taken after concluding UCSCIMED21 Mechanisms of diseases.
This module consists of –again- anatomy, now more detailed which will be scheduled in the morning sessions, followed in the afternoons by pathology, during which the disorders of the organs illustrated in the anatomy sessions will be studied. Here again human material will be shown both macroscopically and microscopically.
