Explanation
The politics and society lab is an alternative for the internship. In small groups students study a current-day political or societal issue (of their own choice) from various angles, amongst them the historical angle.
Preparation
Before the start of the politics and society lab you will write a workplan and during the lab you submit weekly logs, reporting your activities.

- The ability to apply academic skills and knowledge in practical situations - The skills to analyze complex political and societal issues from an historical perspective - Skills in collaboration and communication. The weighted average of the grades for the three tests can be raised or lowered by half a point at most based on the evaluation of the actual functioning of the student by the supervisor.
