Workshop Audiovisual Media (2024/2025: period 4)
Course aim
The goal of the Workshop Audiovisual Media is to build a bridge between education, theory and practice through project-based education.
Students work together (under the supervision of professors) on an audiovisual product that is thematically in line with the academic profiles Film and media culture Television and media culture and Screen Cultures in Transition of the BA Media and Culture.
Course content
The Workshop is an intensive course with technical instructions and a lot of group work (e.g. brainstorm, preparation, writing, recording and editing days) outside the formal seminar times. Therefore, we ask you to be available for this course in the time slots A and D. The seminars take place 2 fulltime days of practical education on location in timeslot AD (technical instruction/carry out group assignments). Teams are formed during the first seminar, in consultation with the participating students.
The Workshop Audiovisual media offers you the opportunity to use your research skills and media studies knowledge for the development of an audiovisual product. The professor determines the theme for the assignment to guarantee that the content is consistent with the themes and research areas of the Department of Media and Culture Studies.

- BA CIW 3rd year and further;
